I need some help. Correct me if I'm wrong. I just rebuilt the engine in my YTM 200e. Now in order for it to be in correct timing when I put it back together the stroke needs to be at top dead center and the t mark on the cam wheel should be aligned with the mark on the timing housing before securing the timing chain. Is this correct?
If this is correct. How do I tell if the engine is at top dead center? Reason I ask is because when I placed the cylinder back on the bottom end I know I moved the piston. I then placed the head on and started attaching everything and stopped because I got to wondering if it was going to be in time. How do I know if it is going to be in time and on top dead center now?
Please help,
