Theres nothing wrong with weiseco pistons in a 4-stroke. Most of the bad rap on them is in 2-stroke machines. I havent heard to many complaint about them in the 4-stroke machines. But Pro-x also makes pistons i beleive for the 200.

With 2-strokes it's all in how you treat them after a rebuild. Don't jump on a new rebuild and touch it off. You have to warm up the cylinder along with the piston. Otherwise you end up with a cold siezure or cylinder damage. Wiesco pistons are very good with proper installation and proper use.

ya he,s right wiesco,s are fine for 4 strokes. they work good in water cooled 2 cycles. wiesco do need to be changed more often. i run a pro x in my 200x. only because of the price

On any new motor, if you don't break it in properly and you just jump on and let her rip then you'll have problems.
proper break-in is the key to longevity with any trike.
recreationunlimited.com sells forged wiseco piston kits for $100.

The hell with Wiesco, go stock. Nothing is more reliable than a stock piston. You are not gaining anything noticeable just by installing a diferent piston. If you absoulutly must, then buy a Pro X........;)

They make a 12 to 1 piston for a 200s damn you gotta run Vp in that. But it'l go like a raped ape. I got 14 to 1 in my car ill kill imports in 2nd gear. Stand yer up on the rear tires at a stop light. So 12 to 1 in a trike Christ you'll have some ponies on tap.

Weisco makes a good piston, very strong. They take a long time to break-in.
Most people don't break-in a new Weisco properly. So when the piston fails, they blame the manufacturer when it was actually operator error.

wiesco has lowered the silcon cotent in there pistons. why because the is now in4 cycle and watecooled 2 cycle bikes. this has lowered there over head. those type engines run a more constant temp range than an air cooled. try tobreak in a hi pro2 cycle with a wiesco some time. there still a good piston. just not for a hi proformance air cooled motor. highly over rated

to me it's a judgement call
you have to ask yourself "am i a moron"
if your not and you can remember to let the motor warm up fully before you beat it go with the forged piston. the forged pistons require more piston to bore clearance to account for their increased expansion. if you beat it cold the piston will rock and damage itself. i think the increased strength is worth it.
the cast piston isn't really a bad choice because you shouldn't see to much detonation in that motor but i think the main reason people go cast is to get more bore life of the 2 strokes since the cast piston doesn't beat the cyl. bore as bad.
although like cat said, stock is usually best it just costs too much

WISECO or STOCK
WISECO is my 1st choice.
