I was wondering if i would have to do any major fabracation to the rear end of my 200X to fit a 350X rear mono shock in there or will it fit rite in? Anything will help.

I think you'll need to fab up some sort of linkage to get the 350X shock to fit. A guy on 3ww.com was making them, but I think he sold them all.

I think you gain a bit more ride height and suspension travel. I'm not 100% sure though.

so it might not even be worth the hasle if its only going to be like 1.5 inch.

There's a guy over on 3wheelerworld.com who did the swap. You could always seach for his pics.

i put a 350x shock on my 85 200x. i used the 350x lower mount linkage. had to do some cutting and welding on the 200x swing arm. it sits taller and has some more travel, not sure how much. It has been about 2 years since i did this. I can't really say if it is better or not. the 350x shock needs rebuilt. i have the spring as soft as it can go and i think it could go softer. i am about 175 lbs.
