View Full Version : 350X powroll kits
Who all has a Powroll kit in their 350X motor? Does anyone have the 430cc kit with a 13:1 compression piston? How do you like that added torque and hp? Would you recommend getting an extended swingarm to offset the easier wheelie factor?
Thanks,
Doug
I'm thinking of buying a 430cc powroll 350X motor for $650. It has a 13:1 piston in it right now, but I'd be installing a 10.5:1 piston in it to run pump gas. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions about the Powroll kits? How reliable are they?
Should I abandon the Powroll kit and just get a performance cam, rockers, and valve springs? If so, which cam is the best all around cam for torque and horsepower?

I've heard the bigger kits aren't as reliable, but everyone I've heard it from is always repeating what they've heard. :) I'd go with the lower compression myself to save on the race gas, my leg, and general longevity. If you don't do any woods riding & can afford to give up some turning radius then a longer swingarm will definitely make it easier to ride.
