When installing a seat cover do you have to remove the old cover before putting on the knew one( pros and cons please) and do you just use a regular staple gun for the bottom or are there special staples:shrug:

For best results, you need to remove the old cover- hopefully your foam is in good shape.

As for staples/gun, you really need a pneumatic staple gun to drive them into the hard plastic seat pan all the way. Those little cheezy spring-loaded staple guns just make a mess out of it, and the staples fall out.

I just replaced mine. Take the old one off.

I used a regular staple gun and I got the staples to go in.
