i have a 85 350x. and i just put a 12:1 piston and a mild cam in it. and i think i have the cam out of time. because it will run and i can drive it if i have the choke 1/2 on it will just idle high and i can gas it about 1/4 throttle (with the choke on) and it does fine but anything after that it just putts out and backfires and doesnt go any faster (i have tried it with the choke off and it just boogs down and doesnt do anything). i can have the choke off and it will idle but as soon as i touch the gas it will die. i have tried adjusting the carberator and it hasn't helped much at all. but i think i have the cam out of time can anyone help me and tell me what they think i should do. or which way to adjust the cam.
