hi again its redgy!
when examining my trike (82r) before hitting the mud i found my back end would move hella oflot and i could swing it side to side, it was as the shock was loose but i followed it up to the swingarm bolt - i think, so i tighted it and problem gone, while saying shock is the shock ment to stay down when pushed down? it dosnt pop back up...
Anyway ive got a bit of play in my rear wheels - so i think its the cas nut on the wheel, so i tighten it, try and put the pin through but wont go.... after a beer and thinking, i thought ah ha! the holes has got to be lined up for the pin, so i had to loosen it untill the pin would go through, this was on both wheels now. after i tighnted it it would move side to side with its wobble but not as bad.
is it worth replacing the rear bearings, and are these located in the swingarm? also what else can i do to stop the wobble. also on the subject my exhaust rubs on the wheel sometimes....
Also on the back wheel since messing theres a clunking clanging everynow and then - what could this be? i think its the wheel. it sounds like a dj on my wheel but a terrible one!
And another also.... when i tipped my trike going down a vertical drop when i got back on it i could have my feet on the pegs and wobble side to side and it would click. my back axle is loose i think.... are these the 2 big nuts holding the brake on? also what else could the movement be...
my trike is pretty ragged :bash: and has had a hell of a hammering with me on it... i think after these problems are done it should be all good...
thanks
