how hot is the right temp for a 85r, just wondering thanks

about 225 in 85 degree weather

mine runs at about 180-190 all the time, 225 seems hot, most anti-feezes break down and boil after 230-240, Engine ice boils at 250 and thats one of the hotter boiling ones.

well theres no way to find out with out doing a temp gauge or thermometer so i might have to do that

now that u think about it,,,, how hot does 180-190 feel like hot hot??? i know its stupid but u cant touch the rads can u? cause its the rads that are hot but i now dont think its 225
