I just put in a brand new carb, the bike sounds great and rides very nice for the first time in a while. The only thing is tjat its smoking. Its not alot but when I rev it it wont smoke once I let go of the throttle is when it smokes and akso when I down shift. I dont think it's blue smoke it's more like just white smoke. It comes out of the exhaust and from the tip of the head pipe. What can cause this. It has plenty of oil.

white smoke is unburned fuel comeing out as a gas.
check your put after it blows smoke and see if it is wet and or black.

As a matter of fact the smoke can have a blueish tint to it. Is that oil? What can solve this? The smoke does not come out wet or black. Thanks

Oil is blue smoke, fuel can be either white or black, and water/coolant is white. This may sound stupid but are you running the correct carb jets? It sounds to me like it is getting to much fuel. Does it feel kind of bogish when your on the throttle? Also what color is your plug???
