When I dropped my piston and cylinder off for opinion and rering, hone job, my piston was on its last leg. I was told that honda does not make the oversize or next size up piston for this, bike, er trike, uh cylinder. Are there other places to get the next size? We think that the next topend job will require the next size piston, depending on how the cylinder holds up. Anyway thank you Jen

I just got this from the guy my buddy bought his XR lowerend from:
"I am running a 65.5 mm piston. Which is a .5mm or .20 inch overboar for a 200x. Which by the way is the stock bore of an xr200."

Wiseco offers 65.5, 66, 66.5, and 67mm size pistons for the xr200. You should be able to get wiseco just about anywere you can get motorcycle parts.

Jenn Wiesco is your best (cheaper) option. You can get 10.25 , 11 , 12 :1 compression ratios also. I think Honda discontinued the xr pistons except stock and maybe .25 over. NOT SURE though.

I forgot to ask about wiseco at the my now richer then me dealer. I was late getting home to the rugrats. Anyway, Glenn if I stick to 200x piston the impression I get is I lose that extra compression I just put on there, it will go back to 9. whatever it was. I was wondering if I Should just hang on to the 200x cylinder I have, Or will I really need it? My Xr sleeve was gorgeous considering all things, speced real real close. So yeah we were able to go with it. But next topend, may be different story. Kinda worried that I wasnt able to get next size piston for the cylinder.
