Ok i'm getting ready to adjust the valves on my yamaha 200 and i can't find my manual...i know the specs but am just unsure of a few things, can i adjust the intake valve correctly with the engine in the bike?seems kinda tight,Also where is the timing window located on this engine?Do i align the "T" or the "F" to adjust the valves? And last question how exactly do i do this put the feeler between the rocker and the valve and tighten the nut????
Remove the fuel tank first it will make it alot easier to get in there(if you already didn't), the timing window is on the left side, right next to the recoil starter, once you have the timing window open, remove the recoil starter and turn the engine over by hand till you see the "T" on the flywheel then go about adjusting your valves.

ok am i suppose to turn the flywheel counterclockwise???amd also should the engine be on the "T" on the compression stroke with the valves closed and no pressure on the rockers???

Quick tip, remove the spark plug. And yes the piston should be on the compression stroke.

It's really amazing what a difference a valve adjustment can do. :headbang:
