Well, started to pull the motor, and ran into a few stumps today. First, the front bottom bolt won't come out of the frame, and this has me throwing my hands up! The bolt head hits the frame, but just by a little bit. Don't know, maybe I have to grind on the frame tube to get it out? Then moved to the back, to remove the swinger..................now there's a whole different pain in the rear!!! Now how the */->?]\ do you get the bolt out of there? The bolt turns, but won't push out. Am I missing something important?

I finally gave up tonight and figured I would see what the 3wheeler gods had to give me for pointers, before I attack it with a damn torch tomorrow! Oh, and I suppose I'll look in the manual and see what secrets I'm missing.

The swingarm bolt. It helps if you jack it up under the engine. Just enough to take the pressure off. As far as the front bolt?????? I can't help you. I have a suggestion..... Get a ball peen hammer, Put the smaller end on the frame and hit with another hammer. Maybe that will give you enough clearance? Better wait and see what someone else says. Maybe they have been there done that...

YES you are missing something. It's called years of rust.

on the bolt they should all clear the frame unless some thing is bent. grind the bolt head not the frame.
On the swing bolt you will have to drive it out, or have it pressed out by a shop. You may have the same prob if you pull the rear axle. Brake huds rust on.

Okay, thought if I put up a picture, maybe someone could help me understand how to get this bolt out. I can't see anything bent, and it would be a tough place to bend without moving the motor mounts, and that would effect the front top motor mounts. Sorry for ramblin' on, but it is driving me nuts, and I suppose I will have to cut the bolt and figure out how to get this all fixed once the motor is removed. Any words of advice?

:wtf: :wtf: :bash: :bash:

After you get the motor out see if a bolt slides in from the other side. ( if not fixed nut )

Finally got it out! A friend suggested using a puller, like you would use on harmonic balancer or pullies for motors. It worked, just put tension on the bolt, and then hit with a hammer, then tighten tension, and hit some more. Took a while, but it worked pretty slick. Had to cut the bolt at the bottom front motor mount. A bolt seems to slide in better from the other side, but still seems awfull tight fit. Thanks for the help thus far!
