I had a 185s for 4 years i got to ride it for a total of about 3 months.God i hate that p.o.s There were at least 5 diffrent people that worked on it along with myself and it never ran. We rebuilt it and the damn cam chain came off and scared the crank shaft up. I got fed up with the 185 engine and bought a 200s engine from a friend and the damn thing ended up needing a rebuild and a clutch. 400 dollars later and 30 minutes of riding and the bitch still dosnt run. The damn pull rope flywheel spins freely and it wont push start off. i put it in 2nd gear and ran as fast as a fat person could posibly run and towards the end i kicked the **** outa it about mid hill and it back fired. it has compresion but it dosnt run or start up. It has spark and the plug is full of gas when i take it out. Now its going to have to go back in the shop which charges 50 dollars an hour. That damn ragady pice of **** costs way more than its worth. Everyone says that it cost to ride but hell i havnt got to ride it more than 30 mins after we put a weisco piston and completly rebuilt the motor. New cam chain cam shaft sproket new head. New jug new clutch. New cam chain tensioner/guides. along with countless simple crap like gaskets.

Damn ragedy japanes made piece of ****.

So what probaly needs to be done. Think it skiped time. I guess im goan drop it off at the shop and put on the paper get the p.o.s running

last time i was in there they actualy admited they have seen people come in and spend 600 dollars on a 110. They didnt say mine wasnt worth fixing up but the woman hinted at it. She said it wasnt a collectors item it wasnt worth anything but they still spent all that money on it. :wtf: then she said she had one like it and its at the bottom of a 50 foot hole with garbage on top of it. After that she said we have a nice 300 four wheeler (old looking one prolly a 89-92) for 2000.00. i was like it took me forever to come up with the money to get my ragady piece of **** overhauled and im goan ride this thing some after all the money that has been poured into it. unfortunatly it needs even more money to get running.

Lol i admit i looked at that 4 wheeler and boy that would be nice to plop my fat ass on the seat and push a button and put it in reverse and drive off. Anyway right now im stuck with a 185/200 pos chinese japanese jamiacin wtf ever made bike that dosnt run what do u people think is wrong with it.

When i had it running it was making some strange noise in the case near the pull rope. The people at the shop said it was probaly a carter key or something that came loose and it will eat away at the clutches if it isnt removed. But would this cause it not to crank. last time i rode it was when i was coming around a tree and it staled becouse i was driving over a stump and it was dark so i just pushed it to the side. The plug fouled so i put a new one in and it hasnt cranked since.

I would recheck your timing. It sounds like the chatter you were hearing was from the timing chain being loose. If you didnt adjust the chain after putting the top end back together then the chain had to much slack in it. And it probable jumped a few teeth and is now out of time. Check your timing marks again and see if they are all right. If not reset them and try to fire it up. And after it is running loosen your timing adjusting bolt. Let it run for a few secounds. Then retighten the bolt. Beings how you said the cam chain came off after the first rebuild makes me think you are maybe not adjusting them right. I have never heard of that before unless a chain has snapped?. Might be worth a try.

No offense, but I think you should have had it worked on by a "Qualified Technician" in the first place. Would have saved a ton of time and money. Ya 50 bucks an hour isn't cheap, but what's your time worth? And you're going there now anyway to spend the money, so you screwed yourself twice...see the logic? And as far as the value of your machine, ...one mans trash is another mans treasure, if you like it, then it's worth a ton. And as far as it being a P.O.S. Jap,mexican whatever you said, Take a stroll through this site and see how many perfectly happy owners of them there are here. Might be the man holdin the wrench thats broke. You only have to be smarter than what you're working on.

My 2 cents.

its going to the shop soon im not touching it nor anyone else who dosnt know what they are doing. The first guy who worked on it was my dads idea to bring it to him. he messed my motor up it wasnt but a week after i got it and the springs in the cdi or whatever broke this guy went al through the motor messing crap up. He even sawed something off the crank shaft becouse he striped a thread. So now on this motor will be worked on properly. Im just mad. that bike has been alot of fun when it was running. I went outside and apoligized to it.
