As you can see from the pictures my 83-85 200x shock doesnt match well with this swingarm.
The stock 83-85 200x axle and bearings fit perfect but, Im having a little trouble with the shock.
Any ideas on what shock will work.

it dosen't look to me that the shock is the issue but rather the dog bone... I think you best bet would be to make some spacers for each of the four sides. what kind of swinger is that?

You are right, the dog bone is the real problem. All of the holes line up, it’s just that the dog bone isn’t wide enough. As a last resort I will use spacers but I am hoping someone will have some more info about this swinger, or a substitute dog bone.
Im not sure what brand of swinger it is.

That's a real nice rebuild there Man. Keep the pics coming...she looks great!
Bring it to a shop and have they weld spacers to the wishbone.
That way less chance of breaking a bolt.

Pict and measurements would be great. Im not sure if its a west coast or not.
This project has been sitting for probably a year. I am determined to get it finished this year for its 20th anniversary.

So are you going to have spacers made or a new dogbone? I have a westcoast for may 200x and didn't know that I will need a different dogbone too. Also, are the swingarm breaings the same as stock ones?

Im not sure what Im going to go. I think I can make the stock dogbone work although the bolt holes do not match perfectly. If I can make the bolt holes match up, I will then have some spacers made. Last night I was trying to put an 85 250r shock in the frame. I think I can make it work.
Im also considering bypassing the dogbone.
The stock seals and bearings are a perfect fit.I bought them new from another board member Dads.
In my case I had to grind off chrome and copper before the bearings would go in. The chromer got a little crazy.
