About a week ago, my dad bought me a 1979 honda 110. We have it runnin now, but it needs oil. Can anyone tell me what type of oil we need to use in it? I've looked all over the web and can't find it anywhere.

SAE 10w30 or 10w40 motor oil will work just fine, stay away from the walmart brand tho hahah gets some ams oil, castrol which ever you prefer, takes 1 liter, the if you use synthtic make sure it dosnt have any "Friction modifiers" in cause it will mess with your clutch, other than that have fun there great bikes :headbang: :headbang:

ok, we have some pennzoil 10W-40, but on the back it says"specailly formulated with friction reducers for high performance engines" is that bad? Or is that somethin different than the "friction modifiers" that you were talkin about?

yea "friction reducers" is same thing as modifiers, it will screw with your clucth and make it slip excessivly if its warn....
Do not use any oil with a Friction modifiers.
And do not use crap oil like pennzoil.
the Quickey lubes use it. cost $.50 a Qt. in 55 gal drums.
The base in it is parifin wax.
And no it will not make the inside of the engine shine. lol :lmao:
