why isnt my light bright on my honda 200 3 wheeler. could someone tell me why its no bright like it should

They were never all that bright to begin with. But if it is real weak even at higher engine rpm`s. Then your lighting coil might be getting weak and not putting out much juice. Do you have a manual for it. So you can test the coil?.

it is a project me and my dad built
it was smoking like a steam engine
lighting coil is that where the light bulb goes n
it was bright when we first turnied it on after about 2 or 3 minutes or so it went really dim on hi beam and low beam
even if the rpm's r up
the light goes off
i let off the gas it comes back on even more dim so
what othe suggestions do u reccomend

Try checking all the wiring very carefully. If it was bright at the beginning, sounds like a bad ground connection. the lighting coil is inside the motor on the left side.

i have checked all wiring and thats ok
i didnt know where the lighting coil was
