85 250r chain adjustment??

my brother in law has a 85 250r and needs to know how to adjust his rear chain. can anyone scan their repair manual, thanks :headbang:

loosen the two allen bolts on the back of the swing arm, loosen the bolt between the two allen bolts. use a spanner wrench to rotate the carrier. DO NOT USE A CHISEL AND A HAMMER!!!!!!!!

theres an easier way too,,,,,, stick a large screwdriver through the sprocket hub into the notch and just roll the bike forward or backwards ,,,,,, woprks awesome!! :D :D :D :D :D

You don't need to loosen the bolt in the center; it's just a stopper to keep the carrier from rotating full circle.
