Part it? Sell it? Ride it?

Hey everyone, I just got a new toy. I bought it for a donor machine ( I have a 300EX quad:nono: I know..." anyone can ride a QUAD!!!!!:loser: ) Anyway, I want some input. My brother, 350xhileration, says "YOU JUST GOT A PIECE OF HISTORY,DON'T RUIN IT!!:nono: . The more I think about it, the more I think he is right. Did I say he is right?:shocked: Well, let me know what you guys think. Hope the picture loads correctly

I say run it, For $800 bux you can't go wrong. Keep the 300EX running and fix this puppy up. Then you'll have something worth hanging on to. 300EX's are a dime a dozen & nothing worth saving. I would say keep em both together as is.

You can keep the safe four wheeler for your inexperienced friends and ride the 350X and kick some butt. No sence letting your friends ride the faster machine. No sence slowing down the heart of an excellent machine by burdening it with an extra wheel.

I agree with Ed. On a 350x, you can still see ahead of you when you're in fourth gear with the front end lofted. Can't do that (see ahead OR fourth gear wheelie) on most quads!!!

well, obviously, you guys luv these 3 wheeled thingies! :) lmao! Nobody says part it, but wasn't going to totally part it out, just take a few items, and then make it a 300X trike, with electric start and reverse. now that can't be considered criminal, can it? I like the trikes, but I am getting older now, and I still like to ride hard.(well as hard as a 34yr old with bills and wife and kids and only one source of income-ME- can) On a trike, dangerous to ride, hard-4 me- I need the spare wheel! lol !! enough of me whinin'. Would anyone be interested in buying this machine? You know how much I paid ($800=a steal!!!)but what kind offers would anyone make?

:doh: Hey, forgot to say, the pictures make it look better. I has some boo-boos :D small tear in seat, small dents (2) in tank, s h i t t y flare on cracked front fender, and fairly large crack in rear fender. The mechanicals are in real nice shape, runs strong:fire: (350xhilaration can still beat me:hail: but what do you expect from a NEW 1985 X :upyours: Rhuel!!!!!!) give me a holler if ya got any questions one more picture to temp ya:demon:

definitely ride it! you'll get better with every hour spent in the saddle. in a year you won't believe you even considered parting it out or selling it. just remember that proper weight transfer is crucial when riding a trike - much more so than on a quad.:eek: :eek: :eek:
