I might have a chance to get a cylinder and head for a big bore (that's about all I know). I have seen these around, and seems they are 300cc kits, if I understand correctly. Can anyone tell me a little more about this? What is the bore size? What piston do you need, and who carries it? What size carb is necessary or recommended for such a kit? Is it really worth the extra money to have this kit? I just picture a whole lot more torque, but not really a high revving motor. What kind of gains are possible out of this kit, with a good port job? What needs done to make this all work?

Okay, enough questions! I look forward to any information you experts can share!

Wow, this is going to be tough figuring out without knowing much about it. Is there ANYWHERE that I can find information about this?

Ok bro, here you go. In my opinion, stay with the 250cc stuff. Some reasons for me were;
1- The 300cc piston is not avalible.
2- If you could find one, what happens when you need to go to the next size over. Same problem.
3- I have a 300cc cyl. All honda did is make a big jug and head for a bolt on. The cyl liner is very thin at the bottom. Mine cracked there.
4- You will gain low rpm power, but not as much as you would think overall.
5- The 250cc can be hopped up just fine and will perform great. Then have lots of easily avalible parts if needed. Good luck man..............................:thumbsup:
