After having my first flat on my 350x a few weeks ago I'm definitely getting a tire patch kit. I also carry a spare plug and tool to install it. What else do you guys carry?

anyone know a good source for a compact hand or foot pump? in my dad's big red of my sx with trunks it's not so big of a deal but on my X or Tecate space is very limited.

oh yeah I always carry a rope to pull (or be pulled) out of whatever I've gotten into.

Dan get yourself a six pack rack for those machines and a decent sized cooler to strap on it then you can carry a can of fix a flat, spark plugs, tools, gps, phones, whatever you want mabey even something to drink if ya wanted to.

I allways take a rope with me. Just in case i brake down . Or someone else does. And a low pressure tire gauge. It is so hard to guess on pressure if you have to stop at a gas station and check your tire`s.

most of the time i dont carry any tools with me besides a rope, but when we are on long river rides i carry extra plugs, plug wrench, and since i am wearing coveralls when im doing this i carry a bottle of slime, and a multipurpose knife that has socket extensions on it, and i carry a bunch of sockets also.

factory tool kits only.
The one in my 250SX was stolen from a new Honda quad that was destroyed. Looked like a pretty good kit.
If i ever get a stock fender back on my SX, i will have more room.

My 250EX came through with only a spark plug wrench and a screwdriver....oh an a really nice tire gauge. But i have plenty of room to add more stuff, it is all in a compartment under the seat.

I just saw an article in the May Dirtwheels about a tire inflation kit that get hooked where your sparkplug goes and you crank your engine, and let the strokes of cylinder pressure supply the air.
Personally i think i would buy one of those small bicycle pumps that racers strap to the frame. I think you can buy them at Walmart.

I carry all the essentials including a full size bike pump(I have a rear rack) and I always carry a spare headlight. I do a lot of night riding.

I carry a spark plug wrench, a plug, and my allen wrench to drain the oil because its a big sized allen and I'm always losing it so I just keep it with the bike so I always know where it is! :)

my 200m has a pouch under the seat, the original owner didn't even know it was there; so the tools are practically brand knew...the pouch has all the tools i need for minor repairs and its the only thing i carry on the trail...other than my gun:demon: :lmao:

just saw the coolest thing for tires
it a hand held pump that operates on compressed cylinders like a pellet gun uses.
They made one similiar to it for a short while but it was made of plastic and was prone to blowing apart... hey 300 psi realease could really hurt.
They are in the refining stage right now. I played with several of the protos today, takes about 5 cartridges to fill a car tire
but you can get 1 small tire(depending on pressure) to fill with it.
they are going to target ATVs for their main market. When production starts I'm gonna put that right next to the duct tape.

Spark plug, spark plug tool, zip ties, wire stripper, serves as an all purpose cutting tool as well, tire plugs, tire plug tools, and if im trail riding alot ill strap a hand pump to my grab bar just in case. Thats about it I used to carry rope in the winter if anyone got stuck in the snow, but it didnt snow around here this year so oh well.

My tool kit consists of:

small screwdriver, pliers, 6" cresent, and a 10mm box end wrench(most common on my ATC)

but I am gonna put a plug in it now becuase that sound like a good idea, also a tire gauge might be good anything else that I should have? Only a limited space under my DX's seat.
