I am wondering what do I have to do for a swap my front tire and or front suspension on my 250sx for a 200x 250r 350x narrower tire, and what parts do I need for this conversion. I really like the look of it and I am sure it turns and handles better with the narrower tire.

You need a complete front end from a 200X. a 86 or 87 gives you a little more travel, and the cover for the new stops. a 83 to 85 front end works too. You need everything off of the 200x front end from the gooseneck forward
You then have to cut the steering stop off of the sx frame and weld on x style stops.
Its not a bad job if you have the parts and tools, can be done in a afternoon

Hi:
I have an opportunity to get a 82 250R.
Would this front assembly fit on my 85 250 sx?

I just had a 200x front end made for me for the SX. BIG DIFFERENCE :headbang: . Handles better and can pull the front end up easier due to less weight.
