on my 84 200s the rear sproket has rubber bushings where it mounts on the axle hub.I just put a new sprockets on and the bushings only lasted about 2hours. so I checked to see if the sprockets where lined up with each other and then I checked to see if the axle was straight.everthing looks good.now I'm beginning to wonder if the extra HP can cause this.but I didn't ride it that hard in the time that I did ride it. has anyone else had this problem?

sorry Dan I thought I was in tech would you please move this post to the right place:doh:

If they were the stock ones the trike came with they were probable just dry rotted from age. Old rubber gets real brittle. The good news is when i looked up some for my trike they were fairly cheap.

the ones that messed up came with the new sprocket so I put the bushings out of the old sprocket in it and they seem to be holding up just fine for now. but I did not know you could buy them separate(SP?) thanks for the info.

Wow that is weird that the new ones gave up. When i bought a sprocket for mine they didnt come with the rubbers. So i just used my old ones. But you can buy them one at a time from parts fish if you need any.
