185s to a 200x

Ok i while back i mentioned a guy who turned a 185s into a 200x. Well i got a 83 185s for free and i am gonna attempt to do it. What do you think i will need and how much trouble is it gonna cause. The guy who did it is gonna sell me a 200x fork, hud rim and tire for $45. is that good? Also i need a gas tank my 185 doesnt got one.

By making a 200x do you mean you are going to chop the frame and add a swing arm to it?. I would think for all the work it is going to be that you could just buy a 200x frame off of ebay for $25.00 and build it from the ground up?.

Ya i am gonna cut the frame and add a swing arm. Its actually cheaper than buying and building a 200x!

well i have a 84 200x frame and a set of 250r forks on ebay for $20. buy the forks and i will give you the frame for the cost of shipping it. you still need a swing arm but you had to buy that anyway.
