is a 1985 take the same carb kit as a 1986-87 just wondering if there is any differnce in the kits? thanks for all who help!

The only difference I know of for sure is the choke/enricher. The little plunger is different, I remember having to change that when I did a carb swap.

The 85 also had vapor lock problems, there was a "kit" for them and the 86/87 has it incorporated.

so I take it I can use the same rebuild kit from 1985 on a 1986-87 right?

Im pretty sure the rebuild kits are the same.

The kits are the same.

The changes they made would not affect the kit.
