Bigger carb

If I get a 87 200x. Are there ANY carb mods? Like bigger 26-28mm? I put a 26mm off a xr on my 85 and helped alot. Hoping the same can be done to a 87? The major mod I would do it would be 12:1 piston.
I am going to look at it this weekend.. Was told complete..But smoking. Trying to get options up in the mean time..

dg sells a 27mm carb, you need to use the cable for a 38 a/s carb(honda 250r cable) or a 83-85 twist throttle setup. I wouldn't use a 12:1 unless you like to buy race gas. One thing I did was use a supertrapp exhuast system for a 350x and I used the header from a cobra 86 200x exhaust. If you really want to mod the bike, put 350x tripples on, 84 250r forks, hub and front rim and tire, far, far better suspension. Also a 83/84 250r axle will work in it(you have to flip it around and use the parts from the 83/84 250r. another thing, you know those expensive roll design pegs for 86/87 trx250r, well they fit on a 86/87 200x as well as 350x's, 86 atc250r's. you have to flip the spring around and trim it slighlty on the 86 200x.

I don't have any current pics with the white 350x tank shrouds, +4 axle, fast trekker tires.
