My 250sx has excessice play in the steering stem. My question is replace the bearings with stock OEM ball bearings or try that tapered roller bearing kit that is available? Has anyone used the tapered roller kit?? Any help or comments will be appreciated.

Where do you find them and how much are they? DO they replace both the upper and lower bearings?

The 350x doesn't come with them stock? It must have some sort of a taper since you can tighten the upper nut to remove some of the play.

Dennis Kirk has the kit. I think it was $36.00 ? As for replacing both upper and lower bearings ,I'm still trying to find that out.
