I dont know if you all know this one, but I figure its worth mentioning. Would allso be Cool to hear about other Compatible Shock swaps for other Sport Trikes.
I havnt done it yet because I have an Extended Swinger that needs to be polished and new Bearings to be installed.
BigGreenMachine told me about this one. The 01 Raptor Shock will work on the 84-85 Tecate with the only mods needed are some washers or Spacer for the Bottom Mount and to make the Top Shock Mount Hole Bigger to fit a bigger Bolt. (I THINK THATS HOW IT GOES) The Hose on the Raptor Shock is short and Big Green mounted his in the Airbox.
I called ELKA and they told me that for $375.00 they totally Hook up the Raptor Shock with Dual Rate and all that Suspension stuff I dont understand. All I know is if your Riding on Elka Suspension your riding nice. I figure they can put a New Hose on it that so the Bottle can be mounted in the Proper place.
I hope to get everything done this winter and have some nice pics to show.
I would like to hear about any shock swap options for the 86 Honda 200X.Mines good but its allways good to have better suspension.
