Is there a difference? I was searching through my clymer manual and for carb adjustment, they put the adjustment numbers for the 1983 200x, then below it the 1984 adjustment numbers. Heh the 1985 numbers werent even there. For example(ref pg. 199 clymer) for pilot jet: 1983-1 3/4 turns out
1984-on- 2 1/4 turns out

I don't understand? is there a difference? I also noticed after the "1984" it said "on"? Whats the deal?

I think they mean 1984 and on, that means this applies to the 85 as well. I know there were some slight differences between the carbs, do not know the details.

The 83's had a couple minor differences. Some things like the number of teeth on the kicker gear, the shape of the swing arm, and other small things. Which do you have?

I never figured out what the difference between carbs was aside from the main jet and pilot adjustments. FWIW, 84 and 85 carbs have the same setting.
