CR80 with a big ol drag pipe, that would be a perfect mail getter not to loud either, well it would be loud enough that you couldn't hear the neighbors yelling but what the heck!

I can see the front shocks are the way to lift the front end up. But i am very curious of what you did to the rear to get it to sit up so high. Cant wait to see all the detailed pics of this thing. Too bad you likve so far away Kasey. I would love to come over to your shop and check out some of these projects you are working on.

there is a swingarm and rear suspention under there .... no details till its closer !!! it will have 4" of travel on both ends

kasey, that thing is sweeeet! Are you going to hop up the motor any, or is it still going to be a 70? What did you use for a triple clamp? Was that YZ also? What prompted you to go to the big front wheel? Are you putting a front disk on it? When it's finished, and you post dozens of pics of it (like I KNOW you will;) ) I'll be really interested in seeing how the swingarm attached to the frame... My kids are almost too big for our 70 now, but I don't plan on getting rid of it. I have too much fun riding wheelies and stuff on it:D

i think im in love :iluvu: tell us...how did you do this? what kind of swing arm and are you using a shock? how are you going to put foot pegs? i want to build one but with a cr80 motor or something.

How dose it pan out? ride like a tank or dose it ride pretty good? how much bigger did you go on the tires? and did you have to re geaqr it? looks sweet! cant wait to see some more pics!!!!!!!!!!!:headbang:

quick questions, did you have to make the tripples for the forks, or they jsut bolt on from a yz80 like you said?
second, whats the swing arm and shock from? where did you make the pivot point? is it disk in the back or do i see shoes?
how bout them baby hoosers? are they goin on?
sorry to bug you with more questions. but dude, your my fav on this board! ;)

I WILL take picts of everything when i tear it down to detail and do all the finish work before paint
front tire is a 21/8/10 off a lt500 suzuki
triple clamps were fabed out offf1/2 " aluminum
rear shock is a stock 200x 85 model with a shortened spring off a 85 250r works great too
stock rear brakes
i built the swingarm out of 1"x2" rec tubing
i have a set of 18/11/10 hoosiers that will end up on it ,
200x rear hubs fit on the 70 too so you can go to 8 or 9"wheels too

well guys i wasn't going to say anything ,,,,,BUT this is the second suspended 70 i have built. not having any pictures i decieded to forget about #1 .... it was built in 1979 it too was fully suspended ,,, my wife found a box of long lost pictures i mean long lost too and guess what ,,, picts of the first one have surfaced too!!!!!!!!!!!! so i'll post a pict ,,,oh theres more just wait till you see what is under the hood!!!!!!

OK i'm going to get killed if my wife ever sees this!!!!! this pict is from like 1981 maybe , its a atc70 with full suspension too, BUT look under the hood, there is a early 185 suzuki two stroke engine in it,see those trophies two firsts that day flattracking grass roots style those were the days ,, i am lookin for more picts too so i'll post more if i find them . talk about squirley but it was fun,,,,,,, ohhh my after looking a little closer there is my old 110 behind her!!!! i can't believe it and i still have that ole 110 too,,,, 145cc big bore 28 mm carb custom tube frame but no suspension i should restore that vintage racer for all to see,,,,,
Trophys!! COOL!! - too bad that was in the days before everybody had video cams! I would love to see video of Kasey flattrakin' that bad boy! :headbang: :thumbsup: :D (uh, the trike, that is)
