Dennis Kirk still sells these for the 83-85 200X. Are they worth the $75? I think I remember reading that someone here had a set in their X......

i can't speak for the 200X as i've not enough time on one with them installed but i've been using them in my 250R's and 350X's for 20yrs. it was the best improvement i made. the differance is dramatic. i doubt you'd be disapointed and will probably kick yourself in the but for not getting them sooner

I bought a set for my 200x project but have decided not to finish the project. pm me with an offer if you want them otherwise I will ebay them when I get around to it.

Thanks guys!

So I take it these are easy to install. I've rebuild my forks once to replace the seals. If I recall, I can just pull the caps off the forks, remove the small springs, then pull out the big springs and install the new ones?

fox,
Will do! Check your PMs....

That all there is to it Glenn. I put a set on my SX and they make a noticeable difference particularly if you're prone to jumping.

Anyone know if spacers need to be used or if the stock small springs are OK?

Glenn, the Progressives dont use either item. They are 1 spring per fork tube.
