Me and my riding buddy spend hours on the lake in the winter ice riding. It is a blast. I feel sorry for you warm climate guys that dont have any frozen lakes to ride on. There is nothing else like it. Thanks for sharing the pic 250rAL. You got me thinking winter allready. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Wow you guys must not have very tough snowmobile laws!!! In Maine if you get caught on a groomed snowmobile trail with a 3 wheeler you might as well dig a hole cause your all done!!
:fire: :fire: :fire: :fire:
If ya trucked it to a lake or pond though you could do that!! Im gonna have to try that!!:headbang:

Hey I have a question ?? In that pic of the dude ice racing are those official standard issue ice racin boots??? haahhaha The guy also has sweats on dosent he??? hahahah
That just struck me funny!!!:D
We do that up here in NH. I have friends that run odeces with bike engines and snowmobile engines on them with gnarly chains on them. you sould see the rooster tails they put out. if you don't have good boots and suits on you will freeze. :headbang:

theres ice racing here also, the track that i race hare scrambles at does it, the only machines you see besides bikes are usually 350x's and occasionally a set up quad, but there is 3 or 4 different classes and it usually takes all day for the event. if any bode is interested in racing or watching, it is only 10 miles from sioux falls, and gate fee is 5 dollars, and racing is 20, but you get money back if you win.this years schedule is january, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, february2nd, 9th.

hey, I do some winter riding too. I made up a set of vicious tires. :demon: I used a set of Yamaha radials from my buddies raptor, drilled 72 holes in EACH tire, pushed thru 36 1/4"x1" , and 36 1/4"x1 3/4" carriage bolts, topped all of them with nylon locknutz. I will tell ya, these things hooked up like craz-E:fire: I could pop the front end on solid ice, or hardpacked snow. I tried to blow doughnutz in fields with 8"-12" of snow, and all it did was dig thru and roost grass out the A S S !!!!!!:fire: :fire: :fire: These were my first set, found out the bolts need to be staggered, being in a row, they all run on same line, so not as effective as being spaced apart. This next set will be alot better. I will be using a better set of tires, and putting in carbide snomobile spikes instead of bolts. I will only use them for deeper snow. If anyone has done something similar, let me know.
What do you air those tires with ? fixaflat :lmao:

dig that 200xrider. winter is the place and time to be for trikes.
speedbump, those tires are sick and i plan to make some out of an old pair of turf tamers this winter. you use tubes right?
and dads, every time i see that damn rat i can help but laugh my ass off. jesus christ look at its hands! :lmao: hilarious, just plain hilarious. where did you get that and why?
dave
Well he's begging for your air box . if you own a trike and live in the country you have rats in your air box if you let they sit.
where did i get it . stoled it ,got rid of their name.:demon:
I'm glade you like it. :D

   I forgot to give details. No need for fix-a-flat. they have tubes in them. hold air quite nicely. VERY difficult to figure out how to get tubes in AND seat the tires on the beads. After good bit of thinkin', Here is how to do it................. take wheel, drill another hole for the tube vavlestem to go thru(opposite side of original valvestem).............put the tire on wheel as normal..................then slip the tube in the tire, and push thru the vavlestem.................once tube is in and flattened out real good(wrinkles or folds will make it inflate way wrong) inflate the tube to help keep air in tire........inflate tire to seat the bead.....POP,POP!.........next remove the valve from the regular valvestem....................continue to inflate the tube until no air sounds are present coming from original valvestem..........inflate to desired pressure.............replace the valve into the normal valvestem and you are off and running. No leaks, no fix a flat. the tubes cost about $12-14 each. and good thing is, u can take the tubes out, and just install another valvestem in spare hole, if ya want to go back to a normal tire. you will just have 2 valvestems
