will a 1983 200 big red fit...

will a 83 200 big red engine with the hi low gear and electric start fit into a 200s or 200x frame?
i so i want to buy this motor.

A 200 is a 200, but you will have a minor clearance problem with the electric starter. If you will notice, the 200e has a cut out where the electric starter goes 200x does not.

i do belive the 200es motor and rear end will fint in the 200s frame. but it will not fit in the 200x. the reason is the x is full suspension and the es is not. the driveshaft dosent hae a spot to pivot so it should work in a 200s frame but not in an x frame. good luck!

this engine is chain drive not shaft.go to ebay and look up "200 engine and it is like third down and says 200 big red atc engine

Oh ok , my bad, i used to have one of those for a parts engine. i know it will fit into a 200 and 200s frame i was going to put the motor in my 200 but the hi low box on the one i had was busted but it dose fit.
