250sx gears

I have always been around 3-wheelers, but new to the site.
i just put a 250bigred rear end on my sx. Everything is great except it is geared to low. Do the 2 bikes run the same gear ratio?
Does anyone make gears for the sx to increase top end speed?
Any help is appreciated.

they do use different ratios. this is b/c the big red came with 25" tires and the SX came with 22" tires. you'll have to find a set of SX gears to get your top end back or go with some 25" tires.

already ordered 22" tires. i figured the ratios were different
that is my luck.
It can't be much different b/c i raced a 300 4x4 and was pullin on top end. i was really easy through the gears b/c i dont want to break this bike , i like it.
