1985 honda 350X,locked up,I started it up rode it 20 feet,real slow,low rpm,and then that terrible sound CRUNCH!!!what do I do first?or what will it cost to have this fixed,ball park??thanks....or dose anyone need a 350x thats broke....trade for 200x thats not broke..........thanks

I had a message typed up, not sure what happened to it. Put trike in 6th gear roll it backwards, if the engine turns over try kicking it slowly and see if it locks up again.

took apart the X........rod broke crank scared up.valves bent piston broke sleeve broke.......and all the top end off and it still will not kick over.......what now???

Are you holding the cam chain up? lol..if not sounds like you have some pieces in your bottom end..

I cut the timing chain off.....the crank is toast.....its bad....can the pieces and parts from this get in the gears...1st,2nd,3rd,and so on?I was not moving when it went. thanks:bash:If anyone wants a 350x I will trade it for a good runnin 200x thats ugly.

hello total rebuild to say the least-you can call dirt cycle salvage and try to get a used bottom or whole motor? 1 508 478 5700 ask for dave i just rebuilt my xr 350
you can get ur crank rebuilt /new berrings ,head sleeve ect... its up to you
