Just bought it tonight for $100.00 I believe 1983 250 R Runs awsome needs the right plastics put on it I think it has 250 sx plastic on it now! Other than that the only other thing I need is a rear brake system! Someone disconected it and it does not have the caliper! Plastic has a couple of holes in it but seems to be OK, I think Ill hang onto the plastic seeing as I have a 250sx and you never know when your going to crash!

I work with a guy that races dirt bikes, and always bring up ATC/ ATV in conversations, I asked if he knew anyone that had a 250r 3 or 4 wheeler and he said his nephew had a couple of old 3 wheelers in his barn! He talked to his nephew and said he would sell this one! I am still working on him for the other one a near mint 200x! Hope I can get the same type of deal on this one! Running out of room in my garage though going to have to part a 200 sx 4 wheeler soon either that or put a 250r engine in it! As you can see in Picture I have no more room in my 24x24 garage!

I wouldnt part out that 20sx though--those are good quads, basically the same engine as a 200x but with an autocluch (liek a 200s).

I would love to keep the 200sx but the lower end is toast and an absolute bitch to split so , if I can find another engine I may put it in!

110'S are just a good old 3 wheeler,no suspension bouncy rough ride,but usable! aND i WISH MY GARAGE WASN'T SO FULL SO i COULD ACTUALLY GET IN IT A LITTLE EASIER!

For trails we head to Elbe ATV sysyem lots of hills and massive mud, we also got several other places, for sand we like Moses lake!

Hey Family52, check out the last picture in my post about the ATC70 in the classifieds. I have been standing my trikes up on the grab bar for storage for 20 years. If you stand yours up, it will give you a lot more room in the garage.

nice trike bout the same shape as mine but i lucked up and bought a rear mastercylinder off ebay for 40 bucks but yours probly runs i still cant get my 84 to run right yal check my stuff on my page and see if yall can help if not i might be selling out but i doubt ill sell it but i still wanna fix it

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the sprocket and chain supposed to be on the left side and the brake disc on the right. Either the older R's were different or your axle is in backwards.

the 81-84 250rs are on the right side form the rear (chain) and the 85-87 are on the left 81-84 air cooled and 85-87 water cooled
