Okay let em start with the problem and then some details. Problem blue smoke
Details:
Smoke only after warms up, no oil fouling of the plug, great power. My question is what is causing the smoke( rings vavle guides?) and where to find the parts to fix it really cheap. My bike is a 85 honda 200x and i store it on it's back wheels (is that a bad thing) been told to check my airbox and my carb but i can't help but wonder why it would only smoke after it warms up but not show signs of burning oil at the pplug. I mean it doesn't even run bad or show a loss of power. i always shut her down when she starts to smoke as i don't want further damage. If i had to put a time frme on it i would say it starts to smoke after 20 to 30 mins of riding and after i let it set for the same time it will not smoke. someone please help.

okay here is a stupid question, what is the silencer, where do i find it, and how do i tell if it is plugged? can it be cleaned or does it need replaced?

Thats a good idea. Its actually your exaust muffler. It could be carboned up.
If it was my trike, I'd change the oil, something like 30 or 40w moble1. Good luck and let us know.

sounds like the rings. you can do a compression test and find out for sure. do one then squirt in a little oil and do another. if the reading goes up it means rings or if it stays the same it's the valves. that could be vice versa...I can never keep it straight. it won't hurt anything to ride it for a while longer though. I've ridden a 350Xs until it smoked like a freight trains. :)

The 86-87 200X silencer has a plate on the underside that you remove, then rev up (good and warm) to low out all the accumulated trash. I don't remember if the 83-85 has that or not.

Yep, the 83-85 has that plate as well.

hi sounds like the rings as it warms up the sleeve will expand/ your oil gets thinner too valve seals wouldnt leak as much as rings good ol`e honda's sorry other than that plug should show something either way

your oil rings could have collapsed?
