Hey dads, I had the same question a while back about my sx and it turned out the screw had to be 3.5 to 4 turns out to make it run right, it runs fine but do you know why so far out?

Varnish from old gas partly plugging the jet not allowing enough flow through it. Eventualy it will plug up all together. You might want to take the carb off and clean it out good. But sence it is still running. You might be able to get by with adding some gas treatment to the gas. And seeing if it cleans itself out. You should start to notice it running to rich. When the stuff start cleaning out. Then try turning your jet back in some.

Sorry dads i know this one wasnt aimed at me. But i was bored LOL:D .

Two out is the factory setting. all trikes will differ from there. worn jets , in a little . clogging jets out a little . jets changed , needle to low. but i would start with a 24 hr CHEM-DIP carb cleaner soke first.
