hey guys my 200x when i start it up it sometimes idles fine sometimes idles a little higher... and also it seems like the throttle sticks every once in a while when i rev it up.... i'm thinking tweeked throttle cable???

Good place to start looking, have you oiled it yet?

i was thinking of that but my dad sayed it doesn't need to be oiled...

omfg:shocked: :shocked: it's still doing it i oiled it and it was alright for a minute so i decided to go for a quick ride and it stuck again...a wild wild ride... front tire didn't touch the ground.... damn i had to change my underwear!!!! the cable right where it connects to the throttle is a little loose and looks streched??? go or bad? do i need a new cable or a new carb??? i hope it's a cheap fix or it's gonna sit for a while... :cry: :cry: broke the bank buying it...:thmbsdwn: :booty: please guys help me out i wanna ride... also the previous owner re-jetted the carb could this be the problem???? if i need a stock carb does anyone have one??? please any tips are greatly appreciated!!!!

The throttle valve might be getting stuck. Unscrew this from the top of your carb and inspect it. Check the cable from end to end dissconected from the carb and make sure it slides good. You might want to clean your throttle valve real well with some carb cleaner and try that. The throttle valve is the cylinder looking valve that unscrews from the top of the carb. There should be a needle sticking out of the bottom.

Make sure your gas tank is not pinching the cable.
