help with my 250r

was riding the other day and bike just stopped.. pulled the cap
and had no spark.. ordered a new coil - installed it and bike started right up. Jumped on, gave it some gas and about half way through 1rst engine stopped, pulled cap no spark. What is my problem? help please. was it a bad coil out of supply?

Its posable. Have you also looks at all your wires to see if any are broken ?. When you get it to spark again. Try putting your old coil back on and see if it still has spark. It might be the stator not makeing power.

it could be several things check your pickup coil, your ground, your stator, for starters

How's the integrity of your kill switch? Those suckers'll getcha too. I think it's real easy for an old one (like on ALL our trikes) to be shorting internally, and give you an intermittent problem like that. SPARK.... NO SPARK. SPARK.... NO SPARK.
