lower cam gear

I have a honda 185s , and i just replaced my bottom cam sprocket. Is there a timing mark on the bottom cam sprocket an the crankshaft. I'm trying to figture out will it matter if i moved the crankshaft or not , because since i replaced the lower cam sprocket it started smoking (oil burning) THANKS

No timing mark on gear. don't need one. did you stagger your ring groves. 2 , 6 , 10 oclock .
