This is on a 86 200x. Need some #'s please....the measurement of valve springs and the measurements of the stem itself. The compression cable bolt has slipped off and bent one of my exhaust springs it looks like. Also I am sweatin it a little I cannot seem to find the c-clamp and worried it has fallen some where it should not have. How worried should I be?? I cannot verify that it was there in the first place. Thx Jen

Thx Looks Like I get some new parts. I found the c-clip, It indeed was somewhere where it should not of been. Since my piston is exposed I would like to clean it without taking it out. Is this possible or ok to do? Thx Jen

Thats no problem at all. If you are just trying to get all the carbon off of it. Wrap a towel or rag around the base of the piston to keep stuff from falling down in to the bottom half of the engine. Then take a drill with a wire wheel attachment and shine the piston up with it. If you dont have one. A plain old wire brush will work. But it takes a lot of elbow grease to get all the old carbon off. But it will look like a new piston when you are done. Just throw some new rings on it. And you are all set.
