ablout to buy a custom drag pipe for my atc 500r. i spoke with matt shearer and andy at ftz racing. matt shearer pipe cost $385.00 and ftz pipe are $280.00.as you can see there's a $105.00 difference between the 2. which pipe would be best? i have the cr 500 motor spec to build the pipe.

id spend the extra buck for the shearer if i where going to buy a pipe, they have some really killer pipes, well basicly all of there pipes are, also if you tell him your thinking about goin over to FTZ because the drastic price difference, maybe he could secretly hook ya up and give you a deal instrad of losing a sale to another pipe company, jus some food for thought

i had ftz setup my cylinder head and they did a good job but when i called them about a pipe i was not impressed. every other pipe builder wanted the motor spec. they told me that they did not need the spec to the motor. now how are they going to build a drag pipe without spec. all motor are not the same...
