my 85 200x broke a head off a valve and injested it and it destoyed my piston and my head as the head was thrown around in the engine. i want to rebuild the engine and need to kno the best piston to use i have a .50 over cylinder i want to use a weisco .50 over 12 to 1 compression piston and heavy duty valve springs and titanium valves but please give me your input on the subject on what brands to use thanx alot kevin

If you had chunks of metal flying around inside your engine, I'm guessing there is some pretty good sized nicks in the cylinder. You'll probably need to have it bored depending on the extent of the damage. And even if your cylinder is still in spec with your old piston, a new piston, or a different brand piston would not be exactly the same size (that's why shops bore cylinders to the piston and not to the size because every piston is slightly different).
As far as pistons go, Wiseco would definately be the best way to go inless you know of a place that makes costom performance pistons. Remember if you go with a 12:1, you have to run it on race gas. If you want to still use pump gas go with the 10.25:1. Thats what I have and I run premium (91 octane).

don't forget the valve went south??-- so did broken parts thougherally check your main berrings!!!!!!! and bottem end --oil pump,clutch ect...
metal gets groun up in oil ,and goes everywhere

might wanna get a new timingchain while your at it !! there only 24.00 from dennis kirk
your new valves need fitted to the seats (local machene shop -valve job)
seal your gaskets
you can get a new (regrind)cam -from powroll,while your at it
