Howdy,
One of my 185's has what I'd call a shimmy. The front end kinda feels like It wants to hop sideways when going straight. Any ideas on where to look and in what order (i.e. most obvious first) Its all stock.

thanks
Max

On my 200 if one of the rear tires is lower than the other on air pressure it will pull to the side.. If that's not it check the adjusters for the rear wheels to see if one is back further than the other, this can happen when tightening the chain and can have the same effect.. thats my input Good Luck!

Sounds like tire pressure to me.

Have you lifted up the front end and seen if the front wheel bearing are tight.

The front wheel bearings seem to be as tight as my other 81' 185s and it dosent shimmy. (They both have a bit of movement in them). I'll try the tire pressure and chain adjusters that were mentioned and see what that does.
Thanks

Rear tire pressure is very important on how they ride. Just a few pounds difference in the rears will make it pull hard to one side.

OR a bent frame will make it pull. To check for that remove rear tires us a tape measure go from rear axle hub to front axle bolt on both sides. make shore the front tire is alined with trike .
