hi im in the military currently deployed in iraq. my tri z back home is currently stuck in i believe fifth gear. i wanna get an idea of what to order to fix it so when i get back i can ride. if anyone has had this problem on a z or on maybe another bike i would really love some input. oh and by the way the clutch is burnt im guessing cuz when i fire it up the sprocket doesnt even move and it was in gear last. plz help me

humm, don't usually when your clutch is toast the sprocket will always be pulling. im sure you have had it checked but check the oil level and make sure there is enough. they can act crazy if they are dry.

i actually did an oil change the day it happened. check it out his is exactly how it happened. my brother was riding along and it got stuck where the shifter wouldnt let it outta the gear it is in. when he stopped we tried to ride it back like that and slipped the hell out of the clutch until it didnt move anymore. now right before all this happened i was blowin the doors off this guy on his 250r(we made 3 pass'). i know the heat had something to do with it but i just havent had time to crack it open since im not there. i was kinda thinkin he may have knocked it into gear tro hard even and knocked the mechanism off but thats just my theory.
He may have bent a shift fork.
