i have to change out some parts on my motor, and i can't getmy cdi to come off. do you have to take off the tension chain. or will it just unbolt.

it should just pop off of the cam. Have you taken out the screw right in the middle? If not, some WD40 sprayed in there and a lot of %$@# an !%*& should work out eventually.
