CAM Chain

I have a honda 185s and the cam chain keeps getting lose.I changed the parts on top of the engine where the bolt is to tighting the cam chain but it still gets loose.i ever replaced the cam chain.the only way to tighting the chain is to break the left case down and do it manual.it stays tight for a couple of days. Can someone please help. THANKS

Your cam tensioner must not be working . did you ajust it.

yes i tried to adjust it

It sounds like the locks are not holding on the ajusting rod for some reason. you did get them in the right way.
