Same trike as before
1983 Honda ATC110
OK i just recently took my trike to have my carb rebuilt because it was leaking gas out of the exess tube in the bottom of the carb basically it is flooding its self, well they rebuilt it putting in new floats and jets so on but is still flooding the pan is their any way to fix it from doing this?
I must be dumb this is confusing me on why it would do this.:fire: :bash:

Your petcock might be leaking. My 250r does the same thing. I just rebuilt the whole carb and it still leaks. One way to be sure is, take off the fuel line from the carb. Keep it connected to the gas tank petcock. With the valve on the off position look to see if gas is still dribbeling out. The weight from the gas sitting on the float valve might be enuf to overflow if the pressure is not stoped when the engine is not running. Anyone els think so?

first---- tap on it it might be stuck if not take it back!!!!!!! they were suppose to fixed that right?????
as for the pet **** --no!!!! it should seal with the fuel on or off !!
if not it might be -- the float height set too high (allowing too much fuel in the carb)
dirt in there , or wore out needle and seat

Thanks guys both of you i don't know what was wrong i took it apart put it back together walla it works but my motor won't turn over low compression and so on, if anyone knows a 125 cc oversize piston kit that would fit after some boring please tell me i think the motor needs rebuilt and a new gasket set and new valaves possibly and new or bigger piston, and rings.

You are welcome. You could take off your cylinder and have it "MIKED". Check to see what bore its on. There are piston kits on ebay all the time. If its a stock bore, you would want to have it bored to .020 over. Buy a .020 over piston and rings c clips and pin. a top end gasket kit+valve guide seals and you are all set. Ebay sells all of these things and some of them are very good quality. As for the valves, you could lap them and replace the valves and springs. Make sure you replace the valve guide seals when you tear down the head, replacement of them will save you the cost of tearing it down in the future when it starts smoking at start-up from cracked valve guide seals. You could always buy a DOMED piston or POP-UP piston. They come in higher compressions. A 10to1 would be a cool boost in power. You should run premium gas with it, 91-92 octaine. You could also throw a mild cam or midrange cam to boost tourqe. There are Poweroll kits that would make that bike scream. Web cams are cool also I've herd.

I don't know if this is true but is it that you can run a low concentration of 2 cycle gas the first time it runs to make things lubricate faster and continue with 91 or 92 octane afterwords?
Another question will the cobra exhaust for this trike make it louder than the stock or would just taking off the exhaust give me more power?
Also whats the best type of oil to run through these trikes for more power?

Don't just take the exhaust off. The valves need a certain amount of back pressure which the exhaust system provides. I run UFA super 30 oil in my trikes, and they seem to do just fine. And i've never heard of anyone using 2 stroke fuel in a 4 stroke. For a bit it would probably be ok, but over time the excess oil in the 2 stroke fuel may cause carbon build up. If you are worried about lubrication when you rebuild your bike, just put a little mechanics grease down the spark plug hole before you turn it over.
