85 250r fork oil capacity

I am replacing my fork seals how much oil and what kind of oil should i use per side and do you pour the oil though the top of the fork? never done forks before any help would be great

yes the oil goes in the top where you would put the air in and its 8oz a side and i use bell ray 10w oil. but you can use different weight for stiffer or softer forks. hope that helps.

actually no, it has 15.5 oz for 86 while 85 has 13.5 oz
