did you know that you can easily convert polished 200x rims to your 250sx? heres how.
all you need to do is grind roughly an 1/8th of an inch around your 250sx hubs outer lip and the hub will fit right in the 200x rear rim.
as for the front end, you can easily mount a 200x front end
on your 250sx with very little modification.
i was in the proccess of doing this when i wrecked my 250sx so i never got it completed. but before it happened , i did put a 200x front end on my 250sx just to see if it would work and it does. but you will need to put some decent size tires on the back to make up for the height difference becuase the x front end stands a little higher.
when it is all done, not only do you shed quite a bit of weight, and make your sx look great, but you gain the disc brake setup in the front for better stopping power.
i just wish i had took pics of it when it was pieced together.

here is another sx trick to make it look mean.
if any of you have seen the pic of my sx, you may have noticed that it stands quite a bit higher in the ass end.
this is basically a cosmetic trick but does serve some function.
what i did was build my own lift kit for the rear fenders by making an adaptor for the rear fender release bracket using thread extensions and reinforced spacers. it would be too much to go into detail, but it is really not that hard to do and really makes your sx look tough. it also adds height to your fender clearance as well. have fun with it!

i have a 85 250sx with a 85 200x front end. the height difference did not bother me. i have stock size tires in the back, and i have used 20-11-10 on it when in the sand. the carburator from a 350x will bolt in and still have the choke on the bars. I test fitted one, but have not tried it yet. i just got one but it has not showed up in the mail yet.

since on the subject of the 250SX.
Doesn't the 250SX have better front suspension then the 250ES?
Are those front ends changeable? put the SX front fork setup on the ES? just a thought

Don't forget to take into account that the ES is leading axle and the SX is trailing axle. This will change the wheelbase of the trike and in turn might change handling.;)

one thing, John---

That "raising the seat" trick.

I liek that other than the obvious dangers (which wouldnt cost probly much to fix) but could we get a visual on that?

I would liek to do that with the 200x....i ahte how low it sits!!! even when I had the 22's on!!
